The Heritage Society

All alumni, friends, faculty, and staff who support The George Washington University Law School through a bequest intention, charitable trust, or other planned-gift commitment are honored with membership in the Heritage Society.

Members of the Heritage Society are acknowledged in Law School and University publications and invited to the Heritage Society Luncheon each May, a holiday tea in December, as well as special enrichment events at the Law School throughout the year. The greatest benefit, however, is knowing you are supporting the students and faculty of GW Law.

We invite you to become a member of the Heritage Society. If you are considering including GW Law in your estate plan, please share our sample bequest language with your estate-planning attorney.

If you have already included GW Law in your estate plans, we would like to honor your support. Please notify us or complete our bequest intention form to become a member of the Heritage Society.

Admiral Stockton Lifetime Giving Society

Admiral Charles Stockton was the dynamic and beloved president of George Washington University from 1910 to 1918. He left a legacy of service and pride at The George Washington University Law School, which continues in the new Admiral Stockton Lifetime Giving Society.

The Admiral Stockton Lifetime Giving Society honors those who have made lifetime contributions—including planned gifts—to the Law School of $100,000 or more with a listing on a donor wall at the Law School. A living memorial conveniently located next to the Jacob Burns Law Library entrance, the wall lists individuals—those with planned gifts or bequests—corporations, and foundations that have supported the Law School and is updated semiannually.
